Aquarienbewohner live: Farben-Zwergflusskrebs
Farben-Zwergflusskrebse sind wunderschöne Lebewesen und mit ihren besonderen Farben eine exotische Bereicherung für jedes Aquarium. Dabei sind die Tierchen aber mehr als nur schön anzusehen – bei der falschen Haltung können sie andere Aquarienbewohner im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes terrorisieren!
Die kleinen Krustentiere zeigen kaum Interesse für den Bodengrund, auch sehen sie Wasserpflanzen nicht als Nahrung an. Diese sind für sie eher eine Kletterhilfe, für die Krebse kann es kaum hoch genug hinaus gehen! Darum sollte das Krebs-Aquarium auch möglicht gut abgesichert sein – selbst eine kleine Öffnung zur Fütterung oder für das Heizstabkabel, Filterzu- und -ablauf wird von den Krebsen gefunden und zur Flucht genutzt.
Entsprechend unkompliziert ist ihre Haltung – allerdings sehen sie deckellose Kleinschnecken durchaus als Nahrung an.Auch eine Vergesellschaftung mit Zwerggarnelen kann zu Verlusten führen. Kleine friedliche Beifische sind eher geeignet, wenn es der Krebsnachwuchs dann auch schwerer hat, heranzuwachsen. Eine Haltung gemeinsam mit anderen Cambarellus-Arten sollte vermieden werden, um zufällige Kreuzungen auszuschließen.
Dennoch: Farben-Zwergflusskrebse sind wunderschöne Aquarienbewohner, die bei richtiger Haltung ein jedes Mini-Ökosystem bereichert. In der freien Natur sollten sie dennoch nicht ausgesetzt werden…

Ich halte Guppis und Neon-Fische, meinst du die Zwergflusskrebse passen mit dazu?

Jeder Aquarianer macht bei einer solchen Zusammensetzung andere Erfahrung. Oft leben die Tiere friedlich nebeneinander, in anderen Fällen verhalten sich die Zwergflusskrebse aggressiv und greifen die Fische an.
In sofern ist guter Rat hier teuer… Vielleicht ist ja eine der friedlicheren Krebsarten etwas für dich? Oder Garnelenarten, die sich meistens sehr (!) gut auch mit kleineren Fischen vertragen? Informationen zu Garnelen findest Du auch im Blog: http://www.aquarium-kaufen.eu/2010/02/garnelen-2/
